The COVID Collaborative is a National Assembly created to tackle the COVID-19 crisis. It is a collaboration between many of the nation’s leading experts in public health, education, and the economy, focusing on four issues: testing & tracing, public health & social measures, vaccines & treatment, and education.

So far, the collaborative has produces two education-oriented reports: “Ten Ways to Make Online Learning Work” and the “Meeting the Moment Plan to Sustain Gains in High School Graduation Rates,” providing the school-based reforms and student supports necessary to keep students on track to graduate in places with the highest dropout risk. Researcher Robert Balfanz is among the expert contributors for the initiative’s education focus.
