The goal of the Evidence Based High School Design Forum is to increase state-level understanding of evidence-based design.

The Forum is an excellent opportunity for state department of education staff members who are responsible or involved in supporting high schools designated under ESSA in need of comprehensive improvement to collaboratively examine the existing evidence base for high school improvement.

The forum will be organized around learning by doing, with the knowledge building materials made available ahead of time, so the participants’ time together will be dedicated to collectively analyzing and applying evidence-based strategies and tools towards high school improvement.

The forum supports the larger seven state ESSA high school redesign collaborative’s goal to use ESSA to enable struggling high schools in high-needs communities to reinvent themselves and become institutions that propel adolescents to adult success in their communities in the 21st century.

The Evidence Based High School Resign Forum will be held on November 8 & 9, 2017 at Johns Hopkins School of Education in Baltimore, MD . Click here for additional details and enrollment information.
